on anyone, but this is especially true for children. Individuals can begin to show temporary
behavioral changes. Some ways
to help: -
Help calm fears by acknowledging concerns and perceptions. -
Encourage people to talk about their feelings. -
Reestablish daily routines as soon as possible. -
After a disaster children are most concerned it will happen again or
they will be separated from their family. -
Discuss your planning so everyone will have a sense of security. |
